About this rug

A lake at dusk, blush hills. Tislit is the bride, and a lake near Imilchil, wept by lovers kept apart. This medallion Beni Ourain runner holds one ringed form at its heart. Weavers once tied a bride's medallion from memory. Zarbish ties it now.

The medallion steps outward in bands of different tones, each band a few knots wide, and the steps are cut square at every turn. Four small diamonds sit in the corners of the pale field, and the field itself is tied long and soft.
