Dama

In the Dama collection, a checkered Berber rug uses squares or blocks to organize the pattern. Other Dama designs extend that grid into arches and larger geometric forms. Berber identifies the collection's broader heritage; we do not assign Dama's checkerboards to a specific tribe.

Dama works in living rooms with plain upholstery, bedrooms, dining spaces, and studios where a graphic pattern can lead. A runner carries the grid down a hallway, while a round rug gives the pattern a softer outline. Choose the colors and scale of the individual design to suit the room.

The pile shown depends on the exact Dama rug, colorway, and shape. Share the product link or photo so we can confirm its pictured height. You can order short pile, 0.4 in / 1 cm; medium, 0.8 in / 2 cm; or shag, 1.2 in / 3 cm. For a sculpted design, raised and clipped areas have different heights.
