Beni Ourain Rugs

Ivory shows a spill sooner than a darker rug, but wool lets go of it when you blot fast with cool water, from the edge inward. Where shoes come in, a lined design hides grit better than a solid ivory.

In living rooms and bedrooms, where the deep wool is felt underfoot: under a sofa, beside a bed, in front of a fireplace. For a hallway or under a dining table, choose a short pile.

A Beni Ourain carries its pattern on the surface, in dark lines on deep wool. A Beni Mrirt cuts the pattern into the pile at two heights, as our sculpted designs do.
