About this rug

Plots of dusty-rose flowers between pale paths. The Tadla is the irrigated plain below the Atlas, and the sculpted Beni Mrirt runner brings it indoors: raised plots, water paths cut flat between. Weavers once knotted fields this level. Zarbish carves the plots today.

Many of the squares here are pale, so the grid reads lighter than it feels, and the one deep square sits off center like a mark on a map. The channels are tight and flat, and the squares stand soft above them in three columns.
