About this rug

A salt plain at dusk, scrub bushes scattered like marks. Tifinagh is the Amazigh alphabet, and this medallion Boujaad round rug speaks it quietly, small signs on soft ground. Weavers once knotted signs like these unaided. Zarbish knots it today.

One stepped diamond fills most of the circle, outlined in a double line with a crown of steps at the top. An arrow axis runs down the middle, and the dots at the sides are set a hand's width apart.
