About this rug
From the air a river runs pale through dark water. Chebka is a net, and this checkered Berber runner casts it over the floor: squares in a grid, two pale rails over them. Weavers once threw a net like this. Zarbish makes it now.
The center panel is plain and full, with notched ends, and a soft band frames it; at each end a block of checks sits beyond a thin bright stripe. The checks keep a clean edge where their two tones meet.
